Great builders merchants with good friendly staff. Really good value, especially the workmens gloves which are a lot stronger and cheaper than other places. Keep an eye out for the thieves on the notice on the front door.

I've had the best experience with MKM. The team on the trade counter were so friendly and helpful, offering advice for the products I needed for my garden reno. Looks to be decent, helpful staff and good prices so far. A large bag of gravel was 40 quid cheaper than b and m! Showroom was a bit old school but I can live with that for the prices that seem to be excellent value. Oh and free local delivery too 👍

Staff are very professional and helpful... recently went in for 70x70mm fencing posts found out they were not standard so I asked the friendly staff can you cut it to the size I need and hay presto job done picked them up at rear pick up point .... awesome can do attitude from start to end thanks guys well appreciated 👍

Rang just before closing to see if the store had a product urgently needed for 6am the following morning. The store could not have been more helpful!! Understanding that I would not get across Durham before closing beacause of the traffic the guy who helped with my query checked with his colleagues to see if anyone was staying late and would be able to serve me. Went even better than that, checked with another colleague who lives in the same village as me and they actually delivered what I needed to my door!! Thanks guys great customer service will recommend MKM to anyone who needs building supplies.
